Always honored to be a creative world as rich as Miranda’s. This record is a big ol slice of Texas brisket. A little about my contribution: I remember flying over west Texas and thinking about No Man’s Land as being a part of the world only the Comanches were allowed to go, and then I thought what a title that would be for Miranda - and off we went to the pen and guitar - ever an amazing mystery to write and connect over songs. The most soulful of thank yous for letting me be a part @mirandalambert .

Digging in with Jack on this was an honor - this guy works so hard on himself and his vision and staying grounded. You can feel this one on your bare feet.

My new album, Lockeland, is out now. I made it in my garage, in my studio, in my neighborhood, and in my heart with some of my dearest friends over the past few years. Sometimes I write songs for other people. But sometimes I start writing something, and I get so attached to the feeling and experience of a song that I can’t help but paint it into a sound to show people. Lockeland is me painting the story of where I am now as a person and songwriter. I hope you love yourself, and I hope you love this record like I do.
